About Us

…in any society, there are many sub-universes of meaning.

~Joan Laird

As we become aware of ourselves as storytellers, we realise we can use our stories to heal and make ourselves whole.

Our Vision

To celebrate, embrace and nurture neurodiversity, queer joy, and the value of lived experience, within our communities and beyond.

Our Mission

At NeuroBeyond, we understand that our current world is dominated by neuro-conforming and binary ideas and ways of living, which can cause anxiety, distress and exhaustion in people who have diverse ways of thinking and being. We provide neuroaffirming and queer-affirming counselling to support neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ people, their friends, families, and communities, to navigate this world and gain greater ownership of their stories and lives.
